Literary Night in Issaquah Washington’s Historic Downtown Creative District

A literary event series on the eastside of King County
Held bi-monthly at the Issaquah Historic Train Depot. Whether you’re a writer or a listener, join us to share and discover stories, poems, essays, flash fictions, hermit crabs, op-eds, diaries and more in a supportive and creative community setting. All are welcome.

We want to hear your literary creations and musings. We are inclusive of diverse narrative formats and storytelling craft.

What Makes Our Open Mic Nights Special?
The salon experience.
Our open mic nights foster egalitarianism, encouraging participants of all experience levels to share their work in a constructively critical environment.

Meet experienced writers, creative talents, and respected veterans who are passionate about developing literary skills.

Inspired by the 17th-century French salons, our gatherings are a hub for free-spirited discussions and creative stimulation. They offer a space where people across different social hierarchies can mingle and express radical, progressive ideas without judgment.
