Concert on the GreenTuesdays at 7PMConcerts on the Green on the lawn at the City of Issaquah’s Community Center. Bring a blanket and a picnic or purchase food onsite and enjoy a high-energy, family friendly summer evening. Free to attend. Click HERE for the weekly line up of bands.

Thursdays at 7PMGas Station Blues at the historic Shell Station on Front Street in historic downtown Issaquah’s Creative District. Free to attend and family friendly, this annual summer musical tradition is produced in by the Downtown Issaquah Association in partnership with the Washington Blues Society. Bring chairs or a blanket, bring a picnic or purchase take out from one of many amazing restaurants in the historic downtown. Or make a patio reservation at Fins Bistro across the street from the Shell Station and enjoy high-quality Pacific Northwest cuisine while dining alfresco from a comfortable table. Festival of New MusicalsAugust 2-4 – Issaquah’s Village Theatre is nationally recognized for Broadway quality productions of your favorite shows AND as a location for launching new works like the Tony nominated 2006 Million Dollar Quartet that runs on Broadway to this day! These new works are launched annually at the Festival of New Musicals each summer. NEW this year, the festival is FREE to attend and open to ALL! August 2-4 – Village Theatre’s Hunt Family Theatre / Kidstage presents Fiddler on the Roof! A beloved musical for all ages, this show features local youth talent on stage and behind the scenes. For tickets CLICK HERE.

 

Downtown Issaquah’s Creative District Special Events on August 10 starting at 11am.

Downtown Association Art WalkAugust 10 from 11am – NoonWild Adventures Kids Concert (ages 1-8) at the Issaquah Public Library. Free to attend.

August 10 from 11:30am – 9pm2nd Annual Brady Byther Memorial Concert on the La Piazza Stage, 172 Front St N.  Produced by the Kaleidoscope School of Music, this day-long event features a variety of student bands playing in honor of a young musician gone too soon. Free to attend, donations in Brady’s memory to a youth music scholarship fund accepted.  More information and band line up HERE.

August 10 from 5pm-8pm – Downtown Issaquah Associations ArtWalk & Music Stroll. Find local artisans selling their wares as well as multiple stages throughout the downtown Creative District. Free to enjoy. Family friendly. Come hungry! Dine at one of the many locally-owned restaurants and support small businesses.

August 14 from 6pm-9pm – A Concert in the Overdale Park Neighborhood featuring The Waybacks. Free to attend and family friendly. Food Truck available with food for purchase.

August 18 at 7pmSong Writers in the Round at Happy Time Studio in downtown Issaquah’s Creative District, featuring Kat Bula (contemporary bluegrass and Americana) and Amelia Day (folk rock, like Brandi Carlile, the Indigo Girls, and Tracy Chapman). The songwriters will will share the stage and trade songs and stories with each other. And you – the audience – get to see it all happen as if it’s in your own living room. Confluence Music FestAugust 24 – Nudestock – Tiger Mountain Family Nudist Park’s annual naked music festival. “A Nude Reggae, Rock, Blu, and Dance Experience”. Gate Opens at 8am. Outdoor stage features awesome local bands playing from 11am to 6pm. CLICK HERE for more details.

August 25 from 2pm-7pm – The Annual Confluence Music Festival features a five-hour music and art festival, highlighting internationally renowned musicians. The festival, produced by the Downtown Issaquah Association, is located in Issaquah’s beautiful Confluence Park, a part of Issaquah’s Creative District, just a few blocks from historic downtown.
